Plant operations covers all aspects related to the maintenance and operation of the
wastewater treatment plant and collection system.
- The majority of plant maintenance is done in house.
- Pump rebuilding and equipment repair.
- Building maintenance.
- Tank cleaning and maintenance.
- Electrical and computer maintenance.
- Plant backup generator systems.
- Wastewater treatment plant grounds.
- Effluent ponds and grounds.
- Maintenance of plant vehicles.
- Monitoring of dissolved oxygen levels and pump flow settings for process control.
- Monitoring slides of the biological growth and makeing adjustments to the process.
- Manage and monitor laboratory tests by laboratory technician and plant operators.
- Biosolids management.
- Effluent ponds water quality control monitoring.
- Collection system maintenance.
- Ten remote pump stations, each with two or three pumps.
- Backup generator system at each pump station.
- 65+ miles of sewer line.
- Sewer line cleaning.
- TV sewer lines for problem areas.
- Remote pump station grounds keeping.
- Equipment repair and maintenance related to collection system cleaning equipment.
